Pursuant to P.L.2018 c. 91, the former New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology has been re-established as the New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology (CSIT), recognizing the role and the importance of innovation developed at the State’s institutions of higher education and businesses to the economy of this State.
CSIT has been established to exercise oversight for the responsibility of implementing, evaluating, and formulating long-range plans and programs for science, innovation, and technology in New Jersey.
Vision
At CSIT, we are committed to furthering the Governor’s vision and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, researchers, and technology businesses of all sizes.
The Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology (CSIT) was re-established in 2018 to bolster innovation within the Garden State and to enhance collaboration across the public sector, academia, and private industry.
